President-elect Donald Trump filed a movement to remain the Jan. 10 sentencing within the New York v. Trump case, Fox Digital has discovered.
“Today, President Trump’s authorized staff moved to cease the illegal sentencing within the Manhattan D.A.’s Witch Hunt. The Supreme Court’s historic resolution on Immunity, the state structure of New York, and different established authorized precedent mandate that this meritless hoax be instantly dismissed,” Trump spokesman and incoming White House communications Director Steven Cheung informed Fox Digital on Monday morning.

New York Judge Juan Merchan set Trump’s sentencing date within the case earlier this month, forward of his inauguration as president on Jan. 20. Trump is ready to be sentenced on Friday, Jan. 10 at 9:30 a.m.
