Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned in an announcement launched by Iranian state media that if Israel responds to the missile barrage, “it would face crushing assaults.”

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated the Iranian missile assault on Israel was “defeated and ineffective” and that the U.S. navy coordinated with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to repel the strikes.
“U.S. naval destroyers joined Israeli Air Defense models in firing interceptors to shoot down inbound missiles. President Biden and Vice President Harris monitored the assault and the response from the White House Situation Room, joined in particular person and remotely by their nationwide safety workforce,” Sullivan stated.
Sullivan characterised the assault as a “vital escalation” whereas talking at a White House briefing on Tuesday.
