Toyota Motor receives correction order from transport ministry

The transport ministry issued a correction order to Toyota Motor on Wednesday over further studies of improper certifications.

Correction orders are administrative actions taken by the federal government over alleged misconduct by producers when the failure is taken into account to be systemic.

“We take the issuance of the correction order by the ministry very significantly and promise to make efforts to enhance,” Toyota Motor President Koji Sato stated Wednesday.
