Tokyo’s prime vogue showcase pushes rising stars to the world stage

Newcomer manufacturers and trade veterans alike have been feted on the newest version of Tokyo’s prime vogue showcase, providing a glimpse of the sartorial sensibilities Japan hopes will flip eyes on the world stage.

On Sept. 2 at Tokyo’s Shibuya Hikarie complicated, the runway present of womenswear model Telma kicked off Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo with glossy florals and ethereal materials. The model was honored with the opening slot because the 2025 Grand Prix winner of the Next Brand Award, introduced a month earlier by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFWO).
