Sts. Mark & Marcellian, Martyrs

Mark and Marcellina have been twin brothers who transformed to Christianity within the third century and have been martyred by the Roman Emperor Diocletian around 286. They served as deacons and have been persecuted after refusing to sacrifice to the Roman gods. They have been strengthened within the Faith by St. Sebastian and buried within the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Rome.
