The Clooney Foundation for Justice (CFJ) was based in 2016 by American actor Clooney and his spouse, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, to research human rights abuses. According to its web site, the CJF is “actively investigating struggle crimes in Ukraine.”
Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office stated in a press release on Telegram that the inspiration “carries out work aimed toward discrediting Russia on a Hollywood scale.”
