Philippines accuses Chinese vessels of blocking South China Sea provide mission, ramming its ship

The Philippines on Sunday accused Chinese vessels of blocking a ship transporting provisions to Filipino fishermen within the South China Sea, saying that they had made “aggressive and harmful” maneuvers together with ramming the ship and utilizing water cannons.

The Philippines’ Bureau of Fisheries vessel “was focused by the People’s Liberation Army Navy ship and a number of China Coast Guard ships, which tried to encircle and block the humanitarian mission,” Manila’s South China Sea activity pressure stated in a press release.

China’s Coast Guard stated it had taken “management measures” in opposition to the Philippine vessel that “illegally” entered into the waters close to the Sabina shoal and had repeatedly approached its ships in a harmful method.
