Perris resident killed by hit-and-run driver in Mead Valley, CHP says



A 37-year-old Perris resident died Monday morning, April 8, after being struck by a car that did not cease, the California Highway Patrol stated.

The collision involving the pedestrian occurred between 3:15 a.m. and seven a.m. on the shoulder of Cajalco Road east of Decker Road within the unincorporated Riverside County neighborhood of Mead Valley, west of Perris. The CHP was referred to as round 7:40 a.m.

Investigators have been capable of slim the window of when the person was hit as a result of a member of the family stated he was dropped off at Cajalco Road and Harvill Avenue, a few mile away from the collision web site, at 3 a.m., stated Officer Javier Navarro, a CHP spokesman.

The sufferer’s title was not instantly introduced.

Navarro stated investigators are on the lookout for clues that may result in the identification of the automotive and its driver and requested anybody with info to name 951-637-8000.
