New EU chiefs go to Kyiv on first day of mandate



The EU’s new high diplomat, Kaja Kallas, and head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, arrived in Kyiv on Sunday in a symbolic present of help for Ukraine on their first day in workplace.

“We got here to present a transparent message that we stand with Ukraine, and we proceed to present our full help,” Costa instructed media shops accompanying them on the journey.

The European Union’s new management staff is eager to exhibit it stays agency on backing Kyiv at a deadly second for Ukraine almost three years into its combat towards Russia’s all-out invasion.
