Evacuations have been ordered for the Line fireplace raging close to Highland that greater than doubled in dimension Saturday to 17,459 acres with no containment because it started the night of Sept. 5.

Several communities are below evacuation orders, together with San Bernardino, Highland and Running Springs, with evacuation warnings in place for the mountain communities of Green Valley Lake, Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Valley of Enchantment, Angelus Oaks, Seven Oaks and Mountain Home Village.
