A person was tased and arrested by police Friday after he tried to get contained in the US Capitol Building with a hammer, in line with authorities. 

An X-ray machine on the Capitol Visitor Center detected the hammer hidden inside 33-year-old Christopher Snow’s backpack shortly earlier than 4 p.m., in line with Capitol Police, because the Senators ready to vote on laws to avert a partial authorities shutdown. 

A wrestle ensued when a Capitol Police officer tried to look the Ohio man’s belongings and Snow tried to seize the backpack, changing into combative, in line with the USCP.

Officers used a Taser on Snow earlier than taking him into custody. He is being charged with assault on a police officer.

Investigators are attempting to find out why Snow tried bringing the software into the Capitol.
