Man arrested, accused of beginning large Line hearth in San Bernardino Mountains



A person was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of beginning the 32,905-acre Line wildfire on Thursday in Highland, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department introduced.

The suspect, a 34-year-old man from Norco, was recognized as the one who began a fireplace within the space of Base Line and Alpin streets, a information launch stated.

The Line hearth unfold into the mountains and the San Bernardino National Forest.

He was arrested after an investigation by Highland sheriff’s station detectives in collaboration with Cal Fire investigators. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of arson and was being held on $80,000 bail, the discharge stated.
