Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Lake Matthews station responded to a name referencing a kidnapping at about 1:16 a.m. Friday.
According to Lt. Jared Howe, Maurice Gamble of Riverside pressured the sufferer to drive him round from the victims’ residence to town of Riverside, the place she was capable of flee sooner or later and speak to the Riverside Police Department.
The id of the sufferer was not disclosed.
Deputies from the Lake Matthews station, with help from the Riverside Police Department, caught the suspect within the space of Canyon Ridge Road and Laurel Drive.
Gamble was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of kidnapping, false imprisonment and several other weapons prices. Bail was set at $1 million, in response to the sheriff’s division.
