A person authorities say was armed with a handgun was fatally shot by a deputy or deputies throughout a probation go to in Perris on Monday, May 13.

At about 8 a.m., deputies assigned to the Riverside Alternative Sentencing Program have been visiting a residence within the 3300 block of Albillo Loop, close to Ramona Expressway and Lake Perris, to conduct a probation compliance examine, in line with a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department assertion.

Information on who the compliance examine was for was not instantly launched.

Multiple individuals have been within the yard of the house when deputies arrived.

One man offered false figuring out info to authorities and tried to stroll away, with one deputy deploying a Taser on the man, which was ineffective, the assertion stated.
