A lawyer and a professor mentioned Monday that they’ve filed a legal grievance accusing Hyogo Gov. Motohiko Saito of paying a public relations firm to run his social media marketing campaign for final month’s gubernatorial election.
The grievance in opposition to Saito, who gained re-election within the Nov. 17 race within the western Japan prefecture, for suspected violation of the general public workplaces election regulation was filed with the Kobe District Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Hyogo Prefectural Police division by lawyer Nobuo Gohara and Hiroshi Kamiwaki, professor at Kobe Gakuin University.
