Japan and Ukraine conform to cooperate on anti-corruption measures


Japan will help Ukraine in its judicial reforms and battle in opposition to corruption, the 2 nations agreed Monday.

Justice Minister Ryuji Koizumi, who’s Japan’s first justice minister to go to Ukraine, met together with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Maliuska in Kyiv on Monday morning forward of the signing of the memorandum of cooperation.

During Koizumi’s journey, the 2 nations have agreed to strengthen direct communication on the administrative stage between the 2 ministries.
