Japan air conditioner gross sales booming amid scorching warmth

A robust warmth wave has been pushing up gross sales of air conditioners in Japan.

Shipments of air conditioners in July jumped 18% 12 months on 12 months to 1,306,000 models, up for 4 consecutive months, in accordance with knowledge from the Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association.
