Israel’s hunt for Hamas’ elusive new chief Sinwar



Since Hamas’ unprecedented assault on Israel on Oct. 7, Yahya Sinwar has been on the prime of Israel’s most needed listing, however the newly appointed chief of the Palestinian group has remained elusive as ever.

Israeli commanders imagine Sinwar, 61, is hiding in a labyrinthine maze of tunnels that Hamas has constructed below the Gaza Strip through the years.

In December, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu introduced that the military had surrounded Sinwar’s home, however since then there was little to no info on his whereabouts.
