Hezbollah launched dozens of rockets at an Israeli navy base within the northern area of the nation on Sunday, as Israel and the militant group proceed to trade hearth amid escalating tensions within the Middle East.
The militant group mentioned the assault, which focused the Ramat David airbase, close to the northern metropolis of Haifa, was “in response to the repeated Israeli assaults that focused numerous Lebanese areas and led to the autumn of many civilian martyrs,” the Associated Press reported.
Israel Defense Forces confirmed on social media that “massive areas of northern Israel are being focused by Hezbollah’s rockets.” It was unclear whether or not there have been any casualties.
