Hermès has unveiled the Slim d’Hermès Pocket Mysterious Rider—an beautiful pocket watch that includes a champlevé enamel cowl designed by Dutch illustrator Viktor Hachmang, portraying a bike rider. This paintings, initially created for a Hermès scarf, has been expertly transferred into the miniature world of horology. The enamel cowl employs a vibrant palette of crimson, white, and blue to depict the rider, who sports activities a Hermès scarf and helmet, in opposition to the geometric backdrop of Hermès’ flagship boutique on 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris.

Upon opening the protecting cowl, a refined white enamel dial with hand-painted crimson numerals is revealed. The distinctive typeface, designed by French graphic designer Philippe Apeloig, provides a up to date and complex contact. The watch case, crafted in 18k white gold, measures 45mm in diameter and is elegantly designed with stirrup-shaped lugs over the crown, which connect a Hermès Rouge H alligator wire.

The Slim d’Hermès Pocket Mysterious Rider is powered by the ultra-thin computerized calibre H1950, developed by Vaucher. This motion is remarkably slim at simply 2.6mm thick and features a micro-rotor, offering a 42-hour energy reserve. The calibre, seen via the sapphire crystal case-back, is adorned with the Hermès “H” sample on its bridges and rotor. This restricted version of three items combines Hermès’ custom of outstanding craftsmanship with a contemporary inventive aptitude, offered in a matte Rouge H alligator pouch.
