Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris put Republican Donald Trump on the defensive at a combative presidential debate on Tuesday with a stream of assaults on abortion limits, his health for workplace and his myriad authorized woes, as each candidates sought a campaign-altering second of their carefully fought election.
A former prosecutor, Harris, 59, appeared to get below the previous president’s pores and skin repeatedly, prompting a visibly indignant Trump, 78, to ship a sequence of falsehood-filled retorts.
At one level, she introduced up Trump’s marketing campaign rallies, goading him by saying that folks usually go away early “out of exhaustion and tedium.”
