Georgia home-owner arrested after making an attempt to maneuver again into her home inhabited by squatter


A Georgia home-owner was arrested and charged with felony trespass after she tried to maneuver again into her personal home, which was reportedly inhabited by a squatter, in response to WSB-TV.

“To see that girl stroll into my mother’s home whereas I used to be within the police automotive, one thing is improper with this image. Something is inherently improper with this image,” the home-owner, Loletha Hale, advised WSB-TV.

The incident occurred on December 9, after Hale reportedly returned to her home to wash up, after a judge dominated in her favor in a months-long battle with Sakemeyia Johnson, the alleged squatter.

The police stated, in response to WSB-TV, that Hale “executed an unlawful eviction and forcibly eliminated Ms. Johnson’s belongings.”

“I spent the night time on a mat on a concrete flooring in deplorable circumstances. While this girl, this squatter slept in my dwelling,” Hale advised the outlet.

The police confirmed with the judge that Hale didn’t have a “signed writ of possession,” which might permit Hale to legally evict Johnson.

“She simply caught up out of nowhere. She had this man with him, and I locked the door. I locked the display screen door, and he pressured himself in telling us to get out,” Johnson advised the police of the incident. 

Hale advised the outlet that she thought Johnson had moved out of the house after she was handed the victory in court docket in November.

Johnson has not been charged with any crimes, in response to WSB-TV.

Georgia has seen an uptick in squatter instances being dropped at court docket in recent times.
