Firefighters sort out 2 brush fires in Cabazon



Firefighters Tuesday battled a brush fireplace that burned 36 acres in Cabazon south of the ten Freeway; and one other fireplace in Cabazon that had burned 40 aces, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department stated.

As of two:08 p.m. Tuesday, the primary fireplace was reported to have burned 15 to twenty acres of vegetation close to Apache Trail and Bonita Avenue in Cabazon.

As of 4 p.m., the hearth had burned 36 acres, and no evacuations or warnings had been issued, Cal Fire/Riverside stated.

Firefighters responded to a different fireplace Tuesday at round 6:39 p.m. close to Almond Street and Esperanza Avenue in Cabazon, additionally south of the ten Freeway, Cal Fire/Riverside stated.

A Cal Fire/Riverside assertion stated roughly 40 acres of vegetation had burned, with the blaze at 5% containment, and there have been no evacuation warnings or orders.
