Fire damages portion of historic constructing in Pomona



An electrical hearth broken a historic constructing in Pomona on Saturday, Sep. 28.

The hearth was reported round 1 a.m. on the Historical Society of Pomona Valley on 585 East Holt Avenue. It was put out round 3:19 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department mentioned.

Damage was restricted to the front-entry portion of the constructing; no harm was reported to the ballroom, museum or kitchen.

On Sunday, it was unclear how a lot harm some “priceless supplies” could have incurred, although most collections had been safely moved off-site or in storage supplies, the Historical Society of Pomona Valley mentioned in an announcement.
