FBI: California lady introduced sword, whip, knife and taser into Capitol throughout Jan. 6 riot

A California lady is charged with taking a cache of weapons, together with a sword, a metal whip and a knife into the U.S. Capitol through the Jan. 6, 2021, assault by a mob of Donald Trump supporters, in response to courtroom data unsealed Wednesday.

Kennedy Lindsey had a brief sword, a metal tactical whip, a collapsible baton, pepper spray, a butterfly knife and a flashlight taser in her possession when a U.S. Secret Service officer searched her backpack, in response to an FBI affidavit.

Lindsey was arrested in Los Angeles final month on fees together with disorderly conduct and possession of a harmful weapon in a Capitol constructing.

More than 1,400 folks have been charged with Capitol riot-related federal crimes. Rioters have been armed with an array of weapons on Jan. 6, together with firearms, knives and stun weapons. Many others used gadgets like flagpoles and damaged items of workplace furnishings as makeshift weapons through the siege.

Lindsey was charged with a girl who flew together with her from California to Washington, D.C. Lindsey purchased airplane tickets for each of them after then-President Donald Trump introduced that there could be a “wild” protest there on Jan. 6. Lindsey posted on social media that she was going as a result of “boss man known as for us to be there.”

After attending Trump’s “Stop the Steal” rally close to the White House, the 2 girls rode to the Capitol on the again of a golf cart.
