Zijie Li, 38, who allegedly tried a number of occasions to entry Mar-a-Lago, was arrested by Palm Beach police on July 31 for trespassing after he was warned to remain away. He pleaded not responsible Friday in Palm Beach County Court and remained in jail Monday, Aug. 5, on $10,000 bail.
Efforts to contact Li’s family and Trump marketing campaign officers for remark have been unsuccessful.
Li’s first encounter occurred at about 8 p.m. on July 19, when the grey Toyota Prius he was driving tried to enter the primary gate at Mar-a-Lago and was stopped by Secret Service brokers, in accordance with a Palm Beach police possible trigger affidavit obtained by the Southern California News Group.
Li reportedly knowledgeable the brokers he possessed data that China was concerned within the failed assassination of Trump at a marketing campaign rally close to Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 and needed to go away paperwork with them.
