Democratic Denver Mayor Mike Johnston pledged to withstand President-elect Trump’s proposed immigration insurance policies, invoking China’s notorious Tiananmen Square incident by saying residents would stand up towards federal brokers.
Johnston emphasised Denver’s dedication to defending unlawful migrants and sustaining its sanctuary metropolis standing, saying it might not be “bullied” by the incoming Trump administration.

“Especially within the face of rising threats to the immigrant communities right here in Los Angeles, I stand with the individuals of this metropolis,” Bass stated. “This second calls for urgency. Immigrant protections make our communities stronger and our metropolis higher.”
