Brush fireplace in Mead Valley stopped at 63 acres



MEAD VALLEY — Firefighters from the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department stopped a brush fireplace in Mead Valley on Saturday.

The fireplace was reported round 12:25 p.m. Saturday close to the intersection of Mack Street and Old Elsinore Road, the place at the very least 10 acres of vegetation have been burning.

The fireplace was contained at 63 acres round 4 p.m., in response to the hearth division.

The reason behind the hearth was not clear.

No accidents or evacuations have been instantly reported and no construction injury was reported.
