The blaze, dubbed the Summit fireplace, was reported round 3:40 p.m., burning round 3 acres within the space close to the intersection of highways 173 and 138, northwest of Silverwood Lake, in accordance with the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
By 5:30 pm., the fireplace’s ahead progress was halted at 78 acres and it was 5% contained, San Bernardino County Fire reported.
There have been no instant stories of accidents and constructions threatened. Information on the reason for the fireplace wasn’t instantly accessible.
Agencies addressing the fireplace have been the county fireplace division in addition to Cal Fire San Bernardino and the San Bernardino National Forest.
