Brush fireplace east of Moreno Valley not threatening houses, Cal Fire says



A brush fireplace in a distant, largely inaccessible space east of Moreno Valley had burned 450 acres as of Sunday night, June 16, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department mentioned.

The Lisa fireplace was reported at 1:11 p.m. within the space of Gilman Springs Road and Alessandro Boulevard. It was rapidly sized up at 77 acres. By 5:17 p.m., 450 acres had burned because the flames chewed up brush at a average price, Cal Fire mentioned. By 7:41 p.m. it was measured at 867 acres with containment of 20%.

Crews on the bottom have been having issue attending to the flames, Cal Fire mentioned, so further plane have been dispatched.

No buildings have been threatened and no evacuations have been ordered.
