Appeals for unity, prayer and peace after Trump rally taking pictures

US President Joe Biden has led requires a reset in political rhetoric within the US after Donald Trump survived an assassination try on Saturday. 


Biden stated it was “time to chill it down” after the taking pictures that left a spectator dead on the former president’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. 

“There is not any place in America [for] this type of violence, for any violence ever, interval. No exceptions,” stated Biden, including “we won’t permit this violence to be normalized.”

“The political rhetoric on this nation has gotten very heated. It’s time to chill it down. We all have a accountability to try this,” he stated.

Other evangelical leaders have appealed for prayer.
