Airstrike on church in Lebanon leaves 8 dead

At least eight individuals have died after a missile assault on a church in Lebanon. 


Local Christian sources advised Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) that the church had been sheltering individuals displaced by Israeli airstrikes on the time of the assault.

The airstrikes prompted the collapse of the church and two adjoining halls that had been getting used as refuges. 

A priest’s home and a three-storey constructing housing parish workplaces had been additionally destroyed within the assault on the church, which is situated within the Melkite Greek Catholic Eparchy of Tyre.
