2 unrelated deadly shootings investigated in Colton



Unrelated shootings left two males dead in Colton on the night time of Monday, June 3, the Colton Police Department stated.

At round 9:30 p.m. Monday, Colton Police responded to reviews of a taking pictures within the 1000 block of North Mt. Vernon Avenue in Colton, police stated Tuesday.

Officers discovered a 32-year-old man from Colton with deadly gunshot wounds to his higher torso, a police information launch stated.

At round 10:48 p.m., Colton Police arrived on the scene of one other taking pictures on the 900 block of Fairway Drive in Colton, stated Cpl. Mike Sandoval, spokesman for the Colton Police Department.

A 25-year-old man was discovered dead in a car at an condominium complicated there, Sandoval stated.

The names of the victims had been withheld pending notification to the victims’ households, Sandoval stated.
