A person who’d been lacking for per week was mysteriously discovered fatally shot alongside his pal inside a Long Island residence, cops stated Wednesday.
Suffolk County detectives have been investigating the disappearance of Ian Saalfield, 45 — who was reported lacking by his spouse on April 26 — after they confirmed up at a house on Hollywood Avenue close to South Evergreen Drive in Selden around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, cops stated.
Inside, they discovered the bodies of Saalfield, of Lake Grove, in addition to Robert Julian, 58 — who lives in the residence, authorities stated.
Both had been shot and have been pronounced useless on scene by a doctor’s assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s workplace, cops stated.
Their relationship is unknown, however, investigators consider they have been mates, in response to police.
Detectives are trying into the chance that the double-slaying was drug-related, cops stated.
No arrests have been made and no suspects have been instantly recognized.
