Spc. Travis Jordan Pameni, 23, of Douglasville, died in Baghdad after an incident in one other location, the Army mentioned. Pameni was assigned to the first Battalion, 121st Infantry Regiment, based mostly in Lawrenceville.

Spc. Owen James Elliott, 23, of Twin City, died in Baghdad. Elliott was assigned to the first Battalion, 118th Field Artillery Regiment, based mostly in Savannah.
That unit started a Middle East deployment in December, the Georgia National Guard has mentioned, specializing in air protection artillery.
The Army mentioned it is investigating every demise. There’s no proof of foul play, officers mentioned.
