The collision occurred round 9:37 p.m., when an officer from the Menifee Police Department entered an intersection at a purple gentle with their emergency lights and sirens activated and collided with a pickup truck, police stated in a Monday assertion.
The officer, who was responding to help with a car cease of a person suspected of assault with a lethal weapon, was heading westbound on Holland Road whereas the pickup truck driver traveled south on Menifee Road, police stated.
